The Body Shop® difference: Our Cactus Scrub Mitts are sourced from our Community Trade partner, the YaMunts'I B’ehña co-operative in Mexico. The co-op, located in a remote area north of Mexico City, provides around 220 indigenous Ñahñu women with regular work and income, as well as the opportunity to develop vital business skills and helps preserve age-old mitt-making techniques. The trade has had a huge impact on the status of women in the community, who now enjoy greater respect, feel more valued and have found a sense of independence they never thought would be possible.
