By revitalizing the traditional activity of beekeeping into a commercially viable business, the organization is helping to improve the standard of living for around 6,000 small-scale producers. We buy about 17 tons of honey a year—that’s over 600 buckets! What’s more, the proceeds of just one bucket of honey can buy 10 mosquito nets to help prevent the spread of the life-threatening disease, malaria.
