Our Community Trade program sources camomile oil from a co-operative of small-scale farmers in Norfolk, England, an area that has been facing declining incomes and employment opportunities. Our trade with Norfolk Essential Oils has helped give a new life to a community that was under threat, by generating jobs and providing a new and important source of income. The methods used by the co-op also ensure the environmental quality of the area, and support local wildlife.

Organic camomile water

Our trade in camomile oil helps support small farmers. Norfolk Essential Oils (NEO), a cooperative of mainly small scale tenant farmers, provides some of the chamomile oil used in our treatments. Based in a rural area of Norfolk in England, the farmers were facing increasing difficulties earning a livelihood from traditional crops, until in 1997 they diversified into essential oil production. When you buy one of our camomile products, you help keep this going.

Is known to relax and calm. Is renowned for helping to soothe the skin. Has a soothing herbal and floral scent. Is known to help soothe the mind and promote restful sleep. Helps to moisturize the skin.
