Because the Capanema Farmers practice sustainable farming methods without the use of chemicals, they are helping to preserve nature, as well as their traditional way of life. The Body Shop® uses about 150 tons of soy oil a year—none of which, we can happily say, contributes to the destruction of the Amazon rainforest.
