Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing product Since being pregnant my hair has turned dry and frizzy. Also my other child likes to run his fingers thru my hair and his fingers get tangled and pull/break my hair. I used this product the night I got it cut and the next morning, it was like I had different hair! Its back to hydrated and soft! I do not have color treated hair, but the other one smells like clay. This one smells great! June 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's how you use it I didn't know if I was going to love or hate this product when I read the reviews. I just bought this at the Mall of America where they have the larger size and I am writing this review because I want the Body Shop to keep this product because IT DOES work. The concept of "Hair Butter" was new to me so I spoke with the sales associate at the store on it's use. It's supposed to work like a hair treatment, comb it through your hair, be patient and rinse it out. How much you use will depend on length. I didn't understand from some of the other reviews that I read how this product could cause tangling, unless you just scooped this out and used it as a leave in conditioner. I don't believe this product is meant to be used that way. This product is temperature sensitive and will get a bit soft in a warm environment and I found I did not need to put that much product in my hair. For even distribution, I always keep a wide tooth comb in the shower and have a habit of combing product through my hair. For conditioners, I usually concentrate on making sure the ends are well saturated. This was not a heavy, greasy product and my hair felt well nourished. I usually let my hair air-dry, but even if I were to use a blow dryer, I believe this product would help in protecting my hair. My hair did not tangle, feel matted, look heavy, or flat. I have straight hair that will frizz up with a lot of humidity and my texture has changed as I have aged gracefully. This is a wonderful product that nourishes my hair and it is a cruelty free product, which also make me feel good about using it. I will probably use this product weekly and most likely repurchase in-store since the larger size is not on-line. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing!! Ok so I don't actualy have coloured hair however I'm in a highly chlorinated pool 5 days a week and have what is called swimmers blonde. Where the chlorine has bleached the tips a lovely but very dry shade of blonde. I actually put this in my hair before I get in to teach and at the end of my shift use my usual shamp and con and hair feels and smells great! I buy the one for coloured hair because I can't stand the one that smells like play dough. February 26, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing! the shop assistant at the mall told me that this one was supposed to replace the olive and avocado line that TBS used to carry. From my previous experience with the rainforest line, I know I might have to add some oil to make a mixture to give my hair a treatment in order to get the desire moisturizing power the discontinued product would offer. I was wrong. I added a lot of Argan oil to this mask and used almost 1/7 of the entire container of the mask and left the mixture in my hair for over 3 hours. And I shampooed and conditioned my hair and let it air dried. Guess what, it still dried my hair big time! Bring back my old honey conditioner and stop reforming the ingredients to something horrible to replace the good ones please! February 1, 2015

    • Olive Oil

Our Community Trade organic olive oil is hand-picked and cold pressed in the Cilento National Park in southern Italy. The members of the Nuovo Cilento cooperative make oil from an indigenous variety of olives, which they grow on land handed down to them through the generations. The World Wildlife Fund first introduced us to the pioneering work of the cooperative, and we made them our sole supplier of Community Trade olive oil. Now they are one of the largest producers of olive oil in the area, boasting some 300 members cultivating 2,000 hectares of land. Learn More →
