Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent! I live in the mountains where the air is incredibly dry. I started using this oil at night under some cream and my skin feels amazing in the morning. One bottle lasts me about a month so even though this product is more expensive than most of the others I buy, it's definitely worth it. February 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for sensitive skin. Little bit expensive, but works awesome for sensitive skin. Helps my mild rosecea and leaves my skin feeling relieved. The scent is kind of like baby powder, so not my favourite, but it works well. February 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing I absolutely love this stuff. It smells great and leaves my skin soft and hydrated without feeling greasy or causing breakouts. I use it during the day occasionally if my skin is feeling dry, but mostly just at night. December 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by a bit disappointed... because I was expecting amazing results. From the reviews I thought I would having this beautifully smooth, supple radiant skin. My face didn't look too much different and my pores looked the same. I didn't really have big pores to begin with and my skin on my face is above average. I wash, tone and moisturize regularly. I think it's because I have combo skin (dry/oil/normal) so this serum ain't no miracle. It moisturizes and that's the point. (I purchased this a few days ago and used it every night since) November 19, 2015

    Answer:
I used the oil for a quite time, and the paint did not come off. But when the bottle was almost finished, I noticed these chips coming out. It is important to take care of the bottle so no paints stick to your face.

    Answer:
I don't know where you heard that.. But I haven't had any issues and I've been using it for about 5 months. The paint is on the outside of the bottle and shouldn't chip off unless you try to make it.

    Answer:
Yes, it is still sold in the same packaging. I had purchased 2 of these a few months ago and have been using one of them so far. The paint-like substance does come off but mostly from the bottom of the bottle where it constantly hits my counter top and drawer where I put it, but otherwise the rest of the paint stays put. I have not had any paint stuck to my hands, fingers, or face after handling the glass bottle. I just handle the bottle mostly by holding the black top (the dropper) and not the glass part. The product itself is amazing though.

    Answer:
Thank you for contacting The Body Shop. Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil should be applied before you apply Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream. Enjoy!

    Answer:
When I purchased this product, I was advised that it could replace my use of the night cream. And it has! While the feel is not "super-greasy" or oily, my skin is so soft and hydrated. I would think you could try it alone first, and then if it doesn't seem sufficient, I would apply the oil on first (as it seems to generally absorb better/more completely than the night cream).

I know some oil products work great for oily skin. Would this work for my oily, acne skin?

    Answer:
I also have oily skin, although my acne is not permanent, but rather flares up occasionally, I seem to do great with it. In the summer this is the only moisture I need at night. During the day I use moisture with oil absorbers. In the cooler months (I live in Fl. so mostly we have heat and high humidity) but when things do cool off I use this underneath a heavier nighttime moisturizer. For reference, because of my oily skin, I use an astringent (Neutrogena) that has both salicylic acid and glycolic acid underneath everything 2 x daily. Hope this helps.

    Answer:
Thank you for contacting The Body Shop. Overnight Serum-In-Oil is a lightweight serum that combines the nourishment of an oil and the power of a serum. Using a facial oil often helps to balance the oil levels of your skin, therefore, we recommend that you give it a try.

I'm 22 years old. For my night routine, I use the following: cream cleanser, exfoliator ( not all nights), toner, essence, serum & sheet mask (not all night). Is it necessary to add a night cream?

    Answer:
Cream cleanser, exfoliator, toner are to wash and clean your face morning or night, while your sheet mask is to refresh and brighten your face and usually should be used 2-3 times a week. The serum is to soften your face like a moisturizer for morning and night and you could use that instead of the cream, but night creams are very good because it's helps your skin regenerate while you are resting. It's great for a night cream vs. day cream so you font get sun exposure to your skin also. Depending on the ingredients, like anti-aging compounds ingredients like retinol, glycolic acid, and hyaluronic acid, which are able to do their work without interference from sun/sunscreens

    • Soya Oil

We source our Community Trade organic soya oil from Gebana Brazil. Gebana produces soya oil from GM-free, organically grown soya beans cultivated in the hinterlands of the Iguazu River. Gebana comprises around 350 families, mostly smallholder farmers. We have been working with them since 2006, because Gebana differs from much of the soya farming industry, which is one of the major contributors to deforestation in Brazil, by promoting sustainable farming methods and organic produce.
