The Body Shop® difference: Back in 1976 when The Body Shop® was founded, no one was talking much about the advantages of natural ingredients or the idea of ethical, fair trade. It’s one of the reasons why Dame Anita Roddick was a pioneer in the cosmetics and skin care industry. Another was the 1992 launch of our ground-breaking Body Butter range, which competitors have been trying to copy (unsuccessfully) ever since. Our Vitamin E Body Butter was a favorite of Anita’s. Her top tip was to mix in wheat germ oil for extra moisturization and a special treat.
